Sixteen years ago, I visited Canada as a tourist. My brother and I stayed in this very place. Now, after all these years, we had a family reunion at the same area we stayed before. And just like old times, they gave us the warmest welcome 💙🙏💚

For those who are asking us how we found our home here in Toronto... my partner's high school classmate is the connection.

We are very lucky with them because they treat us like family. We've only been in Canada for about two weeks, but every time we come back to our house, it feels like "home sweet home."

May mini farm pa po kami hehe see images below 🌱

The basement we're renting is almost fully furnished. However, we bought our mattresses on Amazon when we were still in the Philippines. Overall, it's very cozy and homey. We are truly grateful.

The information provided below could offer you some guidance on how to locate a place in Toronto. Please note I do not have any affiliation with these resources.

Check out more mom-bragging moments. Can you blame me?

Phil is ridiculously adorable.

Had a mix of fear and fun with Thomas and Friends. Nah, just joking. Snapped a pic of this near the CN Tower.

For those asking how much we shelled out for my Student Visa application in Canada, here's the scoop. We began getting in touch with the agency in February 2022, and here's an email from them outlining the charges for the STUDENT VISA ONLY. The family fees are not included in this yet.

We actually went through an agency 'cause we were kind of scared and crazy busy to DIY it. So, we went the agency route. Check out the deets of the agency we used below.

And, next time I'll fill you in on the fees for my whole fam - my partner and our three kids.

Agency: ACN Southern Immigration & Education Services
Website: www.southernimmigration.com
Contact: Marilou Manabat (Feel free to drop my name, Paula Paras, when you talk to her.)
Address: Unit A 181 Sto. Rosario Street San Jose Angeles City (Girlie Lu - David clinic 2nd floor.)

PS: Please bear in mind that these fees were provided last year. There's a possibility they might change, so I strongly suggest conducting your own research or reach out to Marilou.
