Would you buy a winter coat in May? ❄️

Had to be done!! Gaps filled/rules followed:

✅ dressier coat for winter evening wear in taupe (my other wool coats are grey/navy/black)
✅ cool toned neutral colour
✅ high quality fabric! Wool = WARMTH 🙌🏻
✅ fun detailing (buttons/fur) to make it less basic
✅ length - flattering for my body type (kibbe flamboyant natural)

Knowing your colours is a GAME CHANGER!

I discovered a few years ago I am a Summer (low contrast between features, cool toned) and it transformed my wardrobe!

Here’s how I discovered my season:

1) Research 🤓 I found on YouTube and went down a RABBIT HOLE. She also has so many amazing in depth articles on colour analysis on her website.

2) I found a colour analyst on groupon that was cheap! For $50 she came to my place and did the fabric draping to confirm (if want to save money you can also do this at home with friends, make a day out of it!).

3) I started to pay more attention to what colours lit me up and which made me feel washed out (white and black don’t suit me at all up against my face!). I gave away lots of warm toned clothing to a good friend who had the opposite season :) and she gave me a dress! 😍

It is still a HUGE work in progress figuring out what feels like me, but I know that colourful clothing and patterns make me happy ☺️

I make lists and then just forget about them or don’t refer to them 🙄 And I should definitely be banned from Winners 😂

Need to get back on track - and instead of forking out for a stylist I’m gonna try something else 👀 stay tuuuned!

BAH. I don’t know why I’m so conflicted, I know it’s not a big deal. Feeling older and wrinklier by the day 😂 👵🏻

I think any enhancements when tastefully done are fine, but then I think about some of the younger/older celebrities and what they’ve done to their faces and I’m just like DAYUM.
