These shoots get more ambitious every time!
I'm extremely proud of the team and what we pulled off in a very short amount of time. We had a day and half to capture in use product photos and video with 30+ power tools PLUS record scripted reads. The challenge was coming up with unique scenarios for each tool and finding a location versitile enough to accomodate all of our needs. We ended up shooting 20 different "projects" with Scott. He built a work bench, a shelf, installed drywall, shiplap, washed and buffed a car, removed a tire and cut down a tree...to name a few! These shoots can be challenging but they're also the most rewarding. I love them because I get to pull from every skill set I have, not just production.

PDAC 2026 wrap up!
We provided A/V, livestream and photography services at 6 events, for 3 clients over 3 days.
Post-trip interviews with 10 first year engineering students at the Canadian Mining Hall of Fame. Wrapping up production on a new project with OMA, Greenstone Gold Mine and UofT!

Visiting an old friend on the way to work.
💥Last week was a BLAST💥 We hit the ground running with and 11 engineering students from UofT on an immersive, 5 day tour of Ontario’s newest gold mine to see the scale of the operation first hand—Everything from drilling and blasting to hauling and processing. ⛰️ They worked with industry professionals, heard their stories and learned what it takes to make it in this tough but highly rewarding industry 👷‍♂️👷‍♀️. This is the 5th tour I’ve been a part of and it’s always a thrill to see the student's real-time reactions. We get to capture the 💡 moment when perceptions change and an attractive new career path is suddenly within reach.

Before the break, we shot a Year End Message with Vale Base Metals CEO Shaun Usmar! This simple, easily repeatable setup was our go-to for interviews and scripted messages in 2025. One wide, stationary camera with a prompter and a second camera positioned just off center on a motorized slider. Not an issue on this one but a great solution when b-roll is limited.

The latest Premiere update is a game changer, but if it's gotta be perfect you still need a greenscreen. ..although any solid background would probably suffice now.
