The first mindset shift I made was to stop waiting for the perfect amount.

Most people think they need thousands of dollars before they can start building a portfolio.

So they never start at all. I decided that every dollar I had deserved the chance to compound.

When you understand the power of compound interest even small contributions start working for you. That decision alone is why my portfolio is up 18% today.

The second mindset shift was understanding that multiple streams of income are not optional they are necessary. I never wanted my life or my family to depend on one revenue source.

When one stream slows down another one is still generating cash flow. That is not hustle culture. That is asset building. If you only have one way money is coming in you do not have a wealth strategy you have a liability.

The third mindset shift was learning the game instead of avoiding it. Nobody in my circle was talking about index funds or ETFs or portfolio growth. I did not grow up with financial literacy. But I decided that what I did not know was not going to keep me from what I deserved. I learned about dollar cost averaging.

Stop praying for money. And actually pray for the assignment that God already has for YOU!

Most believers have the order backwards. Big time.

They’re asking God for wealth when God is asking them for obedience.

But here’s what scripture shows us 😌wealth in the kingdom is never the target. It’s the byproduct of walking in your God-given assignment.

Deuteronomy 8:18 doesn’t say He gives you wealth because you prayed hard enough.

It says He gives you power to create wealth, to establish His covenant on earth.

That means there’s an assignment attached to the money.

Which means if you’re praying for the bag but ignoring the blueprint, you’ll stay in delay.

Not because God is withholding.

Because you’re asking for the fruit without tending to the tree.

Pray for clarity. Pray for assignment. Pray for alignment with what He already determined in heaven.

The wealth follows the work He called you to.

I think the biggest lie we have been told is that wealth is for a certain type of person.

The person with the fancy degree. The person who came from money.

The person who had it all figured out from the beginning.

That was never me. I went from studying nursing to building a half-million dollar business in my 20s with no roadmap and no connections.

I did not wait until I had enough money to start making smart money moves.

I started exactly where I was with exactly what I had.
Wealth is not about how much money you make.

is about what you do with the money you already have.

It is about the decisions you make today that your future self will thank you for. It is about learning how to stop trading all of your time for money and finding ways to let your income grow beyond your hours.

It is about getting intentional with investing even when it feels small. It is about betting on yourself before anyone else does.

You do not need to wait until you feel ready.

You do not need permission. You do not need a perfect plan.

You just need to make one decision today that moves you closer to the life you actually want.

🧬 THE SCIENCE BEHIND VIRAL CONTENT [explained in detail]

Every platform runs on the same loop: watch time → engagement → distribution.

The algorithm shows your video to a small test audience first — usually 200-500 people.

It measures three things in that window.

How many people watch past 3 seconds.

How many watch to the end. How many take an action (comment, share, save). If those numbers clear the threshold, it pushes to the next tier.

Then the next. That’s how a video goes from 500 views to 50,000.

So if you want reach, here’s what I would keep in mind.

Signal one: retention. The first 3 seconds decide everything.

A weak hook tells the system “this isn’t worth distributing.” A strong hook buys you the next 10 seconds, which buys you the next 30, which buys you the push.

Signal two: comments. Comments outweigh likes in the ranking math because they signal active engagement, not passive consumption.

The algorithm doesn’t just count comments.

It measures the SPEED of comments after posting.

A burst of comments in the first hour tells the system the content is hitting.

A trickle tells it the opposite.

That’s why one-word CTAs work.

The less harder it is , the faster the response. “Comment below if you’d like me to send the guide” requires a too much typing . Comment “ME” requires a reflex.

There’s a lie in the church that’s keeping businesswoman in lack.

We’ve taken “blessed are the poor in spirit” and twisted it into “blessed are the poor in pocket.”

But that’s not what He said.

Spirit and pocket are not the same thing.

Yes,Jesus came humble.

Born in a manger. Rode in on a donkey.

But the SAME God:

→ Gave Solomon wisdom AND wealth
→ Gave Abraham land, livestock, and legacy
→ Trusted Joseph with the wealth of an entire nation
→ Called Lydia, a businesswoman, into ministry

So which one is it?

Are we serving a God of lack or a God of overflow?

Here’s what I’ve learned building a profitable business as a woman of faith:

1. Money flows in assignment and purpose.

Chasing money, likes and trends will get you off course.

Walk in your assignment and the money becomes the by-product. Solomon didn’t ask for riches but he asked for wisdom to lead well.

The wealth came BECAUSE of the assignment, not separate from it.

2. Stop praying for more money. Pray for more fruit.

Money is one of the smallest things God can give you.
The smallest prayer He can answer.

When you focus on fruit — souls reached, lives changed, problems solved — the income follows the impact.

3. Your network is your net worth.

The community you’re pulling wisdom from has never seen $100K in 12 months from their own ideas.

You cannot learn wealth from people who’ve never built it.

Get around new rooms. New conversations. New standards.

Someone reading this right now is making $100K a month.

And someone else is believing God for $100K for the YEAR.

The difference isn’t favor. It’s not even hard work. It’s assignment, mindset, and proximity.

You were not called to run a charity.

You were called to build wealth and steward it for kingdom impact.

Stop waiting to be found. Nobody’s coming to discover you.

Build a simple one-page media kit about your audience size, who follows you, your engagement rate, past collabs (unpaid ones count too), and your rates.

Then email or DM 5 dream brands a week.

Most brands say yes because most creators never ask.

2. Get in with PR agencies, not just brands.

One PR agency reps 10 - 30 brands.

So to you have to get on one agency’s radar and suddenly you’re on multiple lists.

Look up the PR agencies behind your favorite brands (LinkedIn and press releases will tell you), follow them, engage with their posts, then email the publicist directly.

3. Show up to events that are open invite even if they are small and open to the public.

Local launches, pop-ups, store openings, networking nights.

Go and introduce yourself to the PR reps and brand people in the room. Then get home and make content and tag everyone.

You’re on the actual invite list because they remember your face.

I had the honour to speak to the Rising Women Leaders Mentorship Program with founded by Maame De-Heer .deheer and I did not hold back!

We talked about identity and the importance of owning it before the world gets a chance to name you first.

Marriage and motherhood have a way of revealing to you who you are. You don’t wait until you figure out more of who you are in order to step into the next season of life.

You learn as you walk. You learn as you’re in it.

There are some lessons you can only learn when you’re in the middle of it.

There are layers about your identity that you only come to find out through transition, through hardship, through pressure and through uncertainty.

It’s in those moments that you get invited to depend more on the Lord and become more grounded in your identity.

So if you’re waiting to fully know yourself before you step into the relationship, the business, the leap because you may be waiting for a long time.

Every new season has a way of introducing you to a version of yourself you didn’t know existed.

You don’t find yourself before the experience.

It was beautiful to be surrounded in a room full of women of colour who are mentors and mentees at the same time.
