New paint job
Last nights open house was fantastic!!! Thanks to everyone who came to warm up the house. Big thanks to Season 2 Taste for catering the event the samosas were delicious!
Greenbuild tour was very successful. 3 awesome projects by people trying to change the world through the way they live. Check out the Reno coaches blog on his passive house and John Bell's LEED platinum home probably has something on line as well

Replacing stucco
The living room earth plaster is complete. I have a medium gray colour on the west wall to add drama. I just have to get my art work up to cover up the storage space behind.
In the quest for better more natural products I am sourcing silicate paint from ECO-House for the new exterior stucco. It is supposed to breath to ensure I don't have two vapour barriers in my wall!
Eco-House Inc Eco-House Inorganic Silicate Mineral Paints, breathable coatings for concrete, masonry, plaster and straw bale houses, natural wood finish, oil painting art supplies and mediums.
Stucco and Painting have been arranged and hopefully will be complete by the Date of the Open House - Oct 7th!!!
Jane Lockhart was by yesterday to spend all my money on drapes. Why oh why do they cost more than the windows they cover???? Jane gave me great ideas for exterior colours and an Earth Plaster accent wall in the Living Room!
