We have a dozen organizations joining us on October 29th, representing numerous industry sectors, and we expect to see more. We will have companies from Recruitment, Technology, Non-Profit, Finance/Consulting, Government, and Defence sectors.

You'll recognize leading companies like Adecco, Assent, Boys & Girls Club, The City of Ottawa, Communications Security Establishment, Deloitte, Nokia, Ottawa Safety Council, TechInsights, United Way, and others.

This will be a very different career fair and planning event. While there will be a chance to discuss job opportunities, this is also a unique opportunity for you to chat one-on-one with lead HR and hiring managers.

You can expect:
> a small intimate group of participants and companies
> a more relaxed event, not rushed or hectic like larger career fairs
> an opportunity for you to share who you are and what you offer, and to find out what the companies are like and what they offer

We have a special offer for everyone who registers by Thursday, Oct 24. You'll receive an invitation to a Linkedin and Networking webinar on Thursday evening. The 40-minute session starting at 7 p.m. will show you how to create a high-impact Linkedin profile and share some networking techniques to make your time at the career fair productive and successful.

👏 What a great meet-up in June 👏

We were expecting an enlightened panel discussion, good company, and great conversations. And we got them all 👍

The event started with an introduction by the Mayor, Mayor Mark Sutcliffe who set the stage. The panel consisted of Kyle Braatz of Fullscript and Keshana King of Impact Hub Ottawa, moderated by Caroline O'Neill. Our panel and moderator offered excellent insights and experiences on stepping into leadership roles, navigating their unique journeys, and the invaluable personal growth they've achieved along the way which generated great questions. And of course, all of this was preceded and followed by time for networking and catching up with Mindtrust alumni.

We've made it a 3-day session to take advantage of summer hours. This is the perfect training session for you over the summer and positions them for a strong start in September.

We wanted to extend congratulations to the YLP-13 graduates. On June 11th, 2024 this cohort stepped up to accept their Leadership Certificates and make their leadership statements.
