Abernethy got his start working as the right-hand man to the owner of a mid-sized roofing and disposal company. This was a journey into the hitherto uncharted realm of roofing for Winston – who had been previously working on other aspects of the construction/renovation industry. He held the position for a year, during which time he saw the potential niche for a roofing company dedicated to the highest quality of service and was confident that he was the man to make it happen.
