Congratulations to my friend Susan Diaz on her second book swan dive backwards now available on Amazon!
I’m a contributor after we recorded a podcast that centered around harnessing ai in your marketing to augment your expertise, but not replace it entirely. Are you using your robot arms?
Also a key concern that many small business owners need to consider Shadow ai. That is the usage from your team and client data and other info that shouldn’t get uploaded. If you aren’t paying for a subscription and working as a team in one environment you may be exposing your business to unnecessary risk.
Lots of great advice in here for companies implementing ai into their workflows.

Innovation in go-to-market isn't about being first.
It's about being different in a way that matters.
Everyone's on LinkedIn. Everyone's doing content. Everyone's running ads.
But are you saying something worth stopping for?
Or are you just adding to the noise with another "we help companies grow" message?
The GTM strategies that actually work don't outspend.
They out-position.

On my first trip to Las Vegas, I saw a client from my part-time job. I didn’t say hi. It was Vegas. I had no idea I would keep running into him there in the future or that he and his wife would later invest in me launching their software in-market.
Fast forward a few months. They gave me some marketing experience in their small business while I was still in uni. I then went on to pitch them to take their new SaaS product to market. They said, “Sell a few here locally and we’ll talk.”
The early days humbled me. Selling locally was harder than I expected after I had inflated confidence from retail sales. I had to learn fast and build real skill. I doubled down on sales training and managed to get a few early clients and testimonials, selling became easier. Momentum grew.
When I graduated university they said let’s do this.
Within a year, I was working with major hotel chains across Canada and into the US.
Not because I knew how to do it on day one. I figured it out and refused to let the people who believed in me down.
I also learned you can do hard things and have fun at the same time.
From humbled beginner to someone who could win major clients. This same discipline drives my work today.

Leadership that sells, serves, and scales doesn't happen by accident. It’s cultivated through intention, integrity, and intelligent strategy.
Some truths are worth repeating when growth is the goal.
— Trust is easier to maintain than to win back.
— Your clients’ goals are your goals.
— Visibility is currency. If no one sees your message, it doesn’t matter how good it is.
— Blend in, and you will be compared on price. Why you? Use it in messaging.
— Big results come from consistent micro-movements.
— Sticking to outdated methods despite declining results? That’s a slow, quiet death.
— Your #1 job as a leader: Create conditions where excellence thrives.
— Paid media isn’t the strategy. It’s the accelerator.
— Podcasts? A power move for thought leaders ready to scale their voice.
— The riskiest move? Playing it safe. In uncertainty lies unlimited possibilities.
— Red flags ignored are lessons repeated.
Which of these truths are ready to shape your next move?
