I met the saddest version of myself this year. I lost my spark, I lost myself, I lost everything I thought I had under control.

It’s like the weight of the world settled in, and the mirror reflected a stranger’s face. Those days of not recognizing yourself?

They’re the hardest, a silent ache that gnaws at your soul.

Keeping up appearances, putting on a brave face for everyone else while crumbling inside; it’s exhausting, and the pretending only adds to the weight.

The truth is, showing up for others is a beautiful thing, but not at the cost of abandoning yourself.

You were carrying the weight of everyone’s worries, forgetting that your own cup needed filling too.

It takes a lot of courage to admit this, to see the emptiness and tiredness for what it is—a signal to pause, to breathe, to reclaim.

You didn’t lose everything; you lost sight of yourself for a while.

And that’s okay. It’s okay to not be okay, and it’s okay to start small, to show up for yourself in tiny ways every day.

Rediscovering your spark is a journey, one gentle step at a time.

Want to talk about what a small first step might look like for you, or just vent more about what feels heavy right now?

They said I just had to heal up my bones and I'd go back to normal... Well I was never normal so I had no goal to aim for 😂

My baby girl is almost 13! With a heart mermer and cat asthma we were told she wouldn't be able to age too much, but here she is doing well! She's not able to keep up with the fur as much anymore, she has some Knotts that I have to cut out occasionally, but still!
