I used to be the queen of starting things I wasn't ready for.
New workout routine? Signed up.
New habit? Committed.
New goal? Locked in.
And then... life would happen, and I'd wonder why I couldn't stick with it.
Here's what I finally realized:
I was skipping the most important step — checking my starting line.
I was so focused on where I wanted to go that I never paused to see where I actually was.
Now, I do things differently.
Before I commit to anything big, I ask myself: "Am I actually ready for this?"
Not "do I want this" — but "am I ready?"
This small shift has changed everything.
