Feb.14, 2026 at 4:22am my mother Janice Evadny Delisser Friesen passed away at Misericordia Hospital in Edmonton, Ab.
I and the family are undeniably grateful for her life... she gave me life🙏🏻
She taught me courage and audacity as she chose to follow her own path. She has been a blessing to so many and dedicated her life to being of service. I love that thats apart of her legacy. Forever and always I love you💜🕊

Word on the street is you should do what you love, whatever lights you up, lean into that.
Im here with the and we were all floating this night, it felt unreal, no screen could capture fully, but it was truly felt.
Many thanks to the best stellar vocalists i could be sandwiched in between and be transported to the highest heights with and you both reminded me of the magic we create together and the whole band who lifted us way beyond the stars💫

If you follow my stories sometimes, you might notice that holding space for gratitude is super important to me. The little girl in me is proud that I have gratitude as my north star. This clip I am so grateful for as it humbles me... it was from Monday's show reimagining the songs of Solange:) ...it wasn't my best night for vocals, tbh... I had a very long day before I arrived. It was work to put on some makeup, change my clothes at the office, and head over. As artists, sometimes it goes like that and its ok. Sometimes, the reality of a full life lived and all the in betweens don't make the highlights. It takes me a little too long to squash the voice of "you shoulda done better," but I am getting better at knowing who tf I am. ..But let me tell you yoooo, It was well worth it to walk in with my sister and hear her sing irl after so long, to sing with the band with a tired body and to witness a band that lifted me in ways no words can ever explain. Listening Room is a freakin' gem in this city. Thank you and the crew for this gift. Go and experience LR when you get a chance irl.

I love that I can fall in love with music again and again and it never gets old! We had a blast doing what we love at our sold out show this past Friday
It was equally satisfying to be in the audience and hear and perform so beautifully🎶
