As our Send Network Canada team prepares for what's ahead, we're taking time to pray, listen, learn from one another and seek God's direction for the church planters and churches we serve across Canada.

Because this is where discipleship begins.

Before we can help others follow Jesus, we must keep following Him ourselves.

As you look toward the season ahead, what is God teaching you?

Will Han serves alongside church planters in Toronto, and his prayer is both simple and challenging.

In a world full of strategies, programs, and endless ministry demands, he prays that our church planters would never lose their compassion for the people God has called them to serve.

He points to the story of the four friends in Mark 2. They didn't let obstacles stop them from bringing someone to Jesus. Their compassion was so great that they climbed onto a roof, tore it open, and lowered their friend into the presence of Christ.

Will's prayer is that our church planters would have that same kind of compassion—seeing people before programs and faithfully doing whatever it takes to point them to Jesus.

Join us in praying that God would give our church planters hearts that are moved by compassion and lives that reflect His love every day.
