With Easter just days away I wanted to put together something fun for my daughters after school snack with her friend. This kids snack table came together so easily with just a trip to Dollarama and using whatever was in my cupboards. After school snack time is always a big deal π and adding some fun easy touches make it even that more special for kids! If you are hosting Easter this weekend think about adding a few things from your local dollarstore to add a little fun to the kids table. All info on www.jmsentertaining.com. Happy Easter!

Officially back and kicking off things with our Easter Basket Gift Guides for 2024! Easter is right around the corner and I've rounded up 50 ideas to help/inspire you this year. Easter baskets should get fun and don't need to be super fancy or expensive. I start with the items I know my kid needs or I will be replacing soon anyways (new tootherbrush or pjs!) and finish with some fun toys and goodies! Hope these help!

Happy Halloween!! What are everyone's plans tonight? Our neighbourhood is doing individual treat bags and leaving them on the front porch for the kiddos to pick up! Hopefully there is a little normalcy for a few hours because they deserve it! πππ

Ohhh definitely saving this for the summer time!! Looks soooo good and blood orange is my fav!
Happy Friday Friends! My citrus obsession continues... Blood Orange Sangria! πβ¨β£οΈ
ingredients.
6 blood oranges
2 (750ML) bottles of pinot grigio
1 cup club soda
1/2 cup brandy
12 ounces of strawberries, sliced
1 pint of raspberries
1 apple, chopped
1/2 cup sugar, for glass ri***ng
instructions.
Zest one of the blood oranges and combine it with the sugar in a small bowl. Rub the sugar and zest together with your fingers until fragrant. Juice four of the blood oranges (I simply did this by hand), discarding any seeds or pith. Chop the remaining blood oranges into pieces.
In a large pitcher, combine the wine, brandy, blood orange juice, club soda, apples, strawberries, raspberries and blood oranges. Stir well to combine.
Place the orange sugar on a plate, then run a lemon, lime or orange slice around the rim of each glass. Dunk each glass in the sugar, coating well. Fill each glass with a few ice cubes, then add some of the fruit from the sangria.
Pour the sangria into each glass and serve!
Note: this definitely gets better as it sits, so you can make it ahead of time and store it in the fridge.
