Fife House
Canada's largest provider of supportive housing & services for people & families with HIV/AIDS
Fife House is recognized as a North American leader in its delivery of services, which are focused on enhancing quality of life, building on individual strengths and promoting independence - recognizing that access to secure and affordable housing is a key determinant for the health and well-being of people living with HIV/AIDS.
Growing older should never mean growing invisibleβor feeling forced to hide who you are.
Yet many seniors aging with HIV/AIDS continue to face stigma, isolation, and loneliness decades after their diagnosis. Many have lost loved ones, endured prejudice and rejection, and now face the challenges of aging without the support systems many of us take for granted. Many also fear that they may be judged, treated differently, or forced to conceal their HIV status to feel safe and accepted if they have to move into long-term care or supportive housing.
No one should have to go back into the closet about their HIV status to receive care, dignity, and respect.
This summer, you can help change that. Become a Community Champion and join The Kindness Challenge. Commit to completing 100 acts of kindness and fundraising for Fife House's supportive housing programs and wraparound services that support seniors and others living with HIV/AIDS, and enable them to live their authentic selves in affirming, supportive environments.
Because kindness is more than a gestureβit's a powerful response to stigma, discrimination and isolation. Every act of kindness helps build a more inclusive community. Every dollar raised helps ensure people aging with HIV can access the housing, care, and support they need without fear of discrimination.

A heartfelt thank you to Unifor Canada for supporting Fife House's LOVE NOURISHES Food Security Programs via its Social Justice Fund. β€οΈπ This generous contribution will help provide nutritious meals, groceries, and essential food supports to people and families living with HIV/AIDS who are facing financial hardship and housing instability.
Food security is about so much more than putting food on the table. For people living with HIV, access to nutritious food plays a critical role in supporting physical health, medication adherence, mental well-being, and overall quality of life. At a time when many low-income individuals and families are struggling with the rising cost of living, this support helps ensure our community members can access the nourishment they need to thrive.
Thank you, Unifor Social Justice Fund, for standing with us in advancing health, dignity, equity, and care for some of our community's most vulnerable members. Together, we are helping build a healthier, more compassionate future for all. π₯π π

ICYMI: Fife House was featured on Sportsnet's Toronto Blue Jays Pride Night pregame show last Friday. πΊπ³οΈβππ³οΈββ§οΈβΎοΈπIn a thoughtful and meaningful interview, Sportsnet host-reporter Anna Dua sat down with Fife Houseβs Executive Director Carol Thames to discuss the importance of safe, supportive housing and community services for people living with HIV/AIDS and the 2SLGBTQIA+ communities, and why events like and Toronto Blue Jays at the ballpark still matter.
We're grateful for the opportunity to share our mission with a wider audience and to help raise awareness about the ongoing need for housing, dignity, and support in our communities. π π²π
