Happy Thanksgiving Kyja!

Make pumpkin pie fun and festive... like it wasn't awesome enough.

Pumpkin Pie in a Jar

Take store bought desserts to a whole new level! When Pumpkin Pie makes an appearance in an adorable mason jar ~ you have delicious fun in no time! Great for the cottage or snuggly nights with the family this fall.

2 Store Bought Cherry Pies
Brown Sugar
Whipping Cream

Required Items:
Mason Jar Mugs – Can be found at most craft, grocery or dollar stores
Raffia or Ribbon
Your Favorite Forks!

Pack the bottom of your mason jar mugs with brown sugar. This creates a firm base for your pie. Whip chilled whipping cream on medium speed with blender. Add sugar one tablespoon at a time to taste. Cream is whipped when peaks form. Spoon in a generous scoop of whipped cream on top of brown sugar base. Add in chunks of cherry pie. Alternate whipped cream and pie into several layers. Top with a chocolate covered cherry and tie a pretty fork around the mason jar to complete the look!

What an amazing job Kyja & Carolina did on their little rosette cakes. Love those chocolate jewel toppers ladies!

Our Glitterettes can do ANYTHING!

WOW!!!!! A gift from one of our students, a #glitterette from the USA. An insanely lovely box of #Macaron #ChristmasOrnaments! I'm SO IN LOVE!

Thank you #kyja! We loved spending time with you!

We've all done it. We've all grabbed an ugly grocery store cake for a special occasion and sighed with dismay. Tsk Tsk.

Turn your sigh to a swoon! Here's how to glam-up grocery cake in 3 easy steps.

What to buy:
Any small cake/cheesecake from your grocer's bakery section
1 can of Ready Made Frosting or Ready Made Cream Cheese Frosting
Red food colouring
5 small packages of Pink Pocky Sticks

How to transform it:
Add 1 drop of red food colouring to your frosting. Mix well to get a deep pink colour.
Lightly frost your cake to create the pink base. If using cheesecake, all of the major brands also offer a cream cheese frosting option you can utilize in exactly the same way.
If you've purchased a birthday cake with icing flowers/decorations on it you can easily slide a knife underneath them and lift right off.
Press Pocky sticks one at a time onto the sides of cake. The frosting will easily hold them upright.
Leave all the Pocky Sticks one length or alter the lengths to make a custom pattern simply by snapping them to the measurement you'd like.
Top off with a rose or a few rose petals! They're completely food safe and can even be sugared to be eaten, whether they're from the florist or your garden. Just make sure they are pesticide-free.

We're known for serving bubbly to both clients & Glitterettes alike...
but have you ever tried Connie Cupcake "Champagne Jello"?

Jell-O has just grown up! Perfect for any party—this light dessert served in champagne flutes is a delicious delight. Add a strawberry and sugar your rim to be the Hostess with the Mostess!

What to buy:
1 bottle of Champagne
1 package peach Jell-O mix (can also use two envelopes of unflavoured gelatin)

How to transform it:
Boil 1 cup of water (add a few spoons of sugar here if using unflavoured gelatin)
Add Jell-O, stir until dissolved
Let it set until it reaches room temperature
Slowly stir in the Champagne
Sugar the rims of your flutes
Carefully pour the mixture into the flutes and shut the refrigerator door!
Chill for four hours
Right before serving, sprinkle coarse sugar on top
