It’s heartbreaking to see how many influential people have remained silent over the past two years. Some are quick to speak out on certain social issues, yet say nothing when innocent lives are taken. Sadly, many have allowed their hatred for Donald Trump to cloud their judgment, letting politics and ego outweigh basic humanity.
Whether you like him or not, the truth is that without Donald Trump, this peace deal might never have happened. At the very least, he acted with a sense of humanity that others have refused to show. The selective outrage we see today exposes a deep moral inconsistency. If you claim to care about human rights, your compassion should extend to all victims of violence — not just the ones that align with your politics. Remaining silent in the face of such suffering is both shameful and inexcusable.

Across the ocean, we have held you and your loved ones in our thoughts — every day, every moment. We’ve prayed for your safety, your strength, and for the day you would once again breathe freely among those who love you. That day has come, and though nothing can erase what was lost, your homecoming brings a measure of healing the world so desperately needs.
Welcome home, with all our love from Canada. May you find peace in the arms that waited for you, comfort in the voices that never stopped calling your name, and hope in knowing that people everywhere — near and far — never stopped believing you’d come home.

Logic and intuition are like two sides of the same coin — both help us make sense of the world, just in different ways. Logic is the part of us that thinks things through. It looks at facts, weighs options, and helps us make clear, reasoned choices.
Intuition is more like a feeling or a sudden knowing. It doesn’t come from thinking — it just appears, often as a gut feeling or quiet voice inside that says, “This is the right way.”
When we use only logic, we can overthink and miss what our heart is telling us. When we rely only on intuition, we might act too fast without enough information. But when we use both together, we make stronger, wiser decisions.
Sometimes, the best answers come when the mind and the heart work as one.

Today is Canadian Thanksgiving. A day to gather with loved ones, share good food, and reflect on the blessings in our lives. As we celebrate, let’s also hold space in our hearts for those who are struggling, alone, or missing someone dear. Not everyone gets to enjoy the warmth of family or the comfort of a full table today.
Let’s be grateful for what we have, and let’s remember those who are facing hardship, loss, or isolation. Reach out if you can, offer kindness, and keep compassion at the center of your celebrations. Wishing everyone peace, comfort, and hope this Thanksgiving.

Grief deceives us into thinking we understand it in others, but it lives uniquely in every heart. Comparing it is like comparing apples to oranges — both are fruit of love, ripened by loss.
