Nicky Coyne

Let me introduce myself to my new friends and followers.
With a background in nursing and palliative care I fell in love with fitness when I realized I could help prevent people becoming ill with life threatening conditions by sharing my love for fitness, wellness and movement.
My journey over the last 33 years has been varied, having taught fitness classes around the world, trained clients from various backgrounds and with many different goals, being involved at club management levels, contributing author to many of the canfitpro certifications and now as a health and wellness entrepreneur.
I continue to teach the Personal Training Specialist, Healthy Eating for Wellness and CPR courses in Richmond Hill, Newmarket, North York and Aurora. I enjoy mentoring my students long after they have completed their certifications, past students are now gym and franchise owners and highly sort after PT’s around the world.

Specialties: Teaching theoretical concepts such as bioenergetics, cardiorespiratory and muscular concepts in a way that makes sense and which can easily be applied in practice by my students.
