Showing up is not easy. But once you do, there is no better feeling.
I donât know a single person that ever said âI feel terribleâ after a solid workout.
If you donât feel like going, do something light like yoga or a stretching session. Every bit counts.

I poured a lot of â¤ď¸ into this book by combining my passion for health, nutrition, helping people and also design. Yes, design. Some of you donât know that I am also a designer, so I took extra care when designing the layout of the book so that it is easy on the eye and visually appealing. Special attention was put into colours, photography and little details like patterns and illustrations.
I wanted it to be special. I also put a grocery list at the end to really make this process easy and to help you succeed, and a few pages for your own personal notes.

What do all my diplomas and certifications mean to me?
They remind me of my passion, willingness to succeed, the importance of the never-stop-learning attitude and perseverance.
All fitness, wellness and health knowledge I gained over the last 23 (!!!) years allowed me to feel confident and to be of best service to my clients, family and even myself.
I am very grateful to have been trained and educated by some of the best in the industry and my learning journey is by all means not over. The learning process never ends!

Iâm sure some of you can relate to this. I am a picky eater and wonât just eat anything anywhere. I always pre-screen menus in restaurants before going to make sure they have something that I can enjoy. Thankfully I donât suffer from any allergies or extreme sensitivities, but I know what serves my body well and what doesnât. Having extensive nutritional and fitness background helps me to make the right decisions.
Gluten free and lactose free options are always a must.
Since I am not vegan or vegetarian I am ok with meat, but in moderation. I do vegetarian or vegan days a few times a week to balance things out.
I love mixed salads and bowls as those usually provide great balance of different nutrients.
How about you? Do you go crazy when eating out or do you always watch what you eat? đĽxđ?

Move your body, even if itâs just a little every day. With more activity indoor in the last couple of years, I found cardio an amazing filler. In fact, I have been doing a bit more cardio that usual and a bit less weight training.
Having an extensive background in choreographed group fitness, I love me some good music during those sweaty times. It makes the time go by faster and makes it MUCH more pleasurable. I love a good pump with a good mix. It gives me so much joy! I feel like a new person each time after a workout. Trust me, itâs an amazing feeling.

The hardest part is to show up.
The rest is easy. We all have better and worse days when it comes to motivation to show up for your workout. Donât be too hard on yourself if youâre really not feeling it on a particular day. Sometimes your body needs a break. But as soon as you feel like laziness is starting to kick in, thatâs when you need to get yourself together and get your bum to move.
So is it going to be one day, or day one?

Make sure to incorporate weight training into your fitness routine. It not only strengthens your muscles but also allows to build and shape your body. Incorporate at least 3 weight days a week.

As a holistic practitioner I think that supplementation with the right nutrients is crucial. Even if your diet is clean and full of the good stuff, there is no way youâre able to nourish your body with everything it needs daily. Thatâs where supplements come into play.
When I work with clients I always recommend additional supplementation while designing a meal plan. I pay attention to the efficacy, quality and cleanliness of the supplements. It is so important to put the right things in your body. Otherwise you wonât see and feel the optimal results.
