There are very few rules-
1) Be polite and applaud for the other singers.
2) If you want to sing a song that has a long instrumental, be prepared to do a silly dance. We must be entertained.
3) If someone new wants a song and hasn't had a chance to sing, and you've been up several times, expect that person to get a chance before you go up again.
4) Whatever happens on stage, OWN IT!

Friends, there's good news and bad news.
The bad news is that karaoke at Bala's on Saturdays is CANCELED.
The good news is I've updated my website (veeunit.com) and now have an opening on Saturdays for a new venue.

For all of you who've been there when we sing "that Bollywood song", I thought you might be interested in what it means.
I do want to expand the selection in other languages, but it can be tricky when I don't speak the language myself. To anyone who wants a specific song in any language - if you can provide me a link to a good quality karaoke version, I'm always happy to purchase it and add it to the library.
