Canadians helping the World! Making a real difference by helping people in distress, on a project by project basis. Every person can make a difference.
There are many groups working around the world to help the refugees and migrants of Syria. Project Syria Phase 1 is a targeted action for bringing 10 families to Canada. The refugees will be vetted, screened and approved by the Canadian government. They will be minority families currently located in Syria, still within the warzone. The minorities in Syria have been specifically targeted by IS for
genocide and s*x slavery. Every group working on human rights issues and saving human lives from persecution has a focus. Ours is rescuing families where women and children have been targeted for kidnapping and s*xual slavery. Canada is uniquely positioned to accept refugees and provide a framework for integration and success. Further, Canada has the professionals and knowledge, to provide counsel and assist in the healing of these r***d children and women, to allow them to move forward and become productive members of society. We want to help these families come to Canada. Not only to provide the necessary sponsorship, but also to prepare a framework of assistance, and training and counseling, to help these families, women and children, regain their lives, get jobs, and live and enjoy life again. Will you help us? Step 1 - Reach our goal of $450,000 for 10 families
Step 2 - Secure rental accommodations and basic goods
Step 3 - Receive the Refugee family demographics from the Matching Centre at CIC national headquarters in Ottawa and the United Nations Refugee Agency
Step 4 - Receive families in Canada and help them in their new life
The Government requires proof of sponsorship. Our goal is $450,000. It seems like a lot, but really that is only 4,500 people donating $100. In the GTA alone, there are 6 million people. This would be 0.075% of the population donating to this cause. Not even 1%. Without money the families cannot saved. We need you, your friends, your family to spare some money to help and to spread awareness of what we are trying to accomplish. www.compassionatecanadian.com
