Our chefs didn't just cook for the event, they were part of the experience.
It takes a special kind of care and passion to move between the kitchen and the dinning room, making sure everyone feels welcomed while sharing the food they've created.
A big thank you to our incredible chefs for bringing not only their talent, but their warmth and generosity to the table.

Sometimes the most powerful moments from an event arenβt on the stage, but in the connections happening around the room.
This photo captures one of those moments.
The International Womenβs Day fundraiser reminded us that community is built through care, generosity, and showing up for one another. To everyone who attended, supported, volunteered, donated, and helped spread the word, thank you.
Moments like this hug say it all: gratitude, connection, and the power of people coming together to uplift women and strengthen our communities.
We are so thankful to have such a beautiful and supportive community around this cause.

A little surprise for our ticket holders...
We are incredibly grateful for the generosity of amazing donors who have stepped forward to support our cause by contributing special prizes for a silent auction.
Every bid will go directly toward supporting the two shelters we've chosen for IWD fundraiser, and , helping extend the impact of the evening even further. π«

π BIG NEWS π
We're incredibly excited and grateful to collaborate with Kelly Timmons Chan on the menu design for our March 8 event! They have created a special piece of artwork that will be featured as part of the menu experience for the evening! .paints
Meet Kelly Timmons Chan (they/them) a Cantonese Canadian American q***r pop artist π¨ and mural painter based in Torontoπ. Through their lens as a biracial gender-fluid immigrant, Kelcy explores what it feels like to find belonging and have cultural pride. They examine how food is a universal love language. They amplify stories of family-owned restaurants and q***r spaces highlighting how our places of belonging directly tie us to our history, the land we live on, and our communities. π«Ά
With the artistβs signature motif, the little purple peopleπ, Kelcy whimsically exemplifies the presence of the LGBTQIA+ communityπ everywhere, and in many of their pieces spotlights the intersection of their Asian heritage and q***r identity.
By using little purple people, Kelcy creates intricate, bustling scenes representative of immigrant and q***r spaces. They invite the viewer to consider how their experiences with their community and with food have contributed to what home and belonging feel like.
We can't wait for you to see the beautiful artwork that Kelcy prepared for this event!

Meet the chefs cooking for our fundraiser dinner eventπ
These are the chefs shaping our tables and helping push the industry forward. Women who have made a real impact in restaurants, kitchens, and communities.
They are educators guiding the next generation, balancing families, businesses and busy restaurants, all at once. They are talented, skilled, creative, and they believe in change, equity, and always willing to uplift, mentor, and support other women.
Redefining what leadership in food looks like, this is more than a dinner, this is a collective power πͺ

This is why we cook.
For community. For dignity. For stories of strength and overcoming barriers.
With the help of incredible volunteers and like-minded people, weβre using food to support those facing food insecurity, and it never feels like work when the purpose is this clear.
When food brings people together for good, the work feels natural, no effort, just purpose.
Grateful to work with such like-minded, generous humans doing real good for our communities.
