I’d like to announce a few changes to my website (harrybenz.com) with the beginning of this new year, 2026.

1. Shipping to the US is back again!
• I found a hassle free shipping solution that doesn’t require me to pay hundreds of dollars in advance every time I ship a bunch of straps.
From now on shipping to the US is with UPS Ground exclusively (contiguous US only).

2. My FUT35% discount was a great success. Because I’m accepting US orders again, I figured it’s fair to even the playing field for all customers. That’s why I replaced the discount with something that will make everyone happy.
I made a few necessary prize adjustments but the biggest change is the currency.
>>> Prices on my website are no longer in USD but as of now in Canadian Dollars.

This way the exchange rate gives everybody a sweet ‘discount’ and a reason to smile. Enjoy!

Believe me when I say I hate having to do this to my customers in the US.
Although I am fully aware that this decision could potentially have grave consequences for my business, I have simply put, no other choice.
Sorry.
Then again, what’s bad for some is good for others… Which means, in the next few days I will make some changes that will benefit customers in Canada, Europe, Great Britain and the rest of the world. I hope this will make ordering my straps for many a lot more attractive.

Made another one of these beauties. The Camouflage camera strap.
Custom made to order.
Hand painting a long strap takes time and frankly speaking, is a big pain in the behind.
It is literally nothing but constantly watching paint dry. — Paint a section, wait, switch color, rinse and repeat.
The process would qualify as torture… if the final result wouldn’t be so darn rewarding! :)

Beautiful battle scars with a touch of purple elegance. — But who cares about the gorgeous strap on a gracefully aged Leica M2 from 1964.
Instead, go and do something worthwhile with your time. Check out many books and admire her work.

There’s a new color choice for the Pinstripe camera strap available on my website.
Inspired by a customer of mine, it’s called Fauve.

I’m happy to report the completion of another beautiful custom camera strap request. This one is an extended Pinstripe strap, 150cm or 59” length, in medium brown Water-Buffalo with the stripe painted in Safari green.
Or in other words, it’s the Pinstripe version of my Safari strap.
