On Veterans Day, we honor and salute all men and women who served before us.

Although initially known as Armistice Day, November 11 was recognized in allied nations as a day of remembrance for those who served in World War I. In 1954, the United States redesignated Armistice Day to Veterans Day to honor and celebrate all who had served, not just those in World War I.

As of today, there are nearly 19 million veterans around the nation, each with their own story, and experience.

Delaney Schnell, a United States Olympian and student from hopped in the F-16 with ahead of this weekend’s Thunder and Lightning over Arizona Airshow!

She won the silver medal in the women’s synchronized diving 10-meter platform during the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. She also collected many other accolades through her collegiate and professional swimming career and continues training for the FINA World Championships in May of 2022.

My name is Olivia, I’m a 22 year old commercial pilot from England!

I decided I wanted to be a pilot at the age of 15 after attending a careers fair at my school and pretty much since then I’ve made aviation my life! When I left school at 18 I decided rather than attending university I wanted to gain some experience in the industry so spent a year working as cabin crew on both long and short haul flights. After a year serving the skies I started my pilot training and I’m now 6 months into my professional career and find myself so grateful for the experiences I had along the way.

I feel so lucky to be doing the job of my dreams and can’t wait for what the future holds!
