My mural for is a celebration of the creative mind. ⚡️The electric spark, the flow, the pouring out, the unleashing of the subconscious, the opening of the heart and soul. If this isn’t being alive, I don’t know what is. Six months in the making, three spaces, 275 hours of painting.
This mural was a homecoming for me. Physically and emotionally. I moved back to Ontario in November after a difficult (to say the least) time out West. I took almost three years off my career to heal and try to make a whole person out of what pieces were left (still a forever work in progress). I had accepted that all was lost. Completing this mural was an integral part of realizing that wasn’t true.

To step out of impossibly dark rooms and learn there’s still so much light in you, that is something we should all be proud of.
