This year, the start of Roots, Rants and Roars falls on Rosh Hashanah, the Jewish New Year and the start of the High Holidays.
This year we will celebrate the spirit of Canada’s most eastern province with fabulous food and extraordinary music and think about all the people who make Newfoundland their home. The traditions and flavours they bring with them only add to the experience Newfoundland and Newfoundlander offer.

Thanks to Andrew Applebaum for having me on his podcast. The thing I love about telling my story is the perspective I gain about myself. I’m not defined by any one chapter. In fact, what connects the chapters is a sense of self discovery that I’m rather proud of.
