Defence against the squash vine borer, a moth that lays eggs at the base of a zucchini plant. I'm wrapping the stems of my zucchini seedlings with aluminum foil to prevent the catterpillar from boring into the stem and killing the plants.

Seedlings are growing. I had some challenges with my seedlings germinating this spring because it had been so cold. But now, I have been slowly moving the seedlings into pots, my wonderful niece helped me yesterday. Seedlings are still inside the greenhouse but they will soon go out in the garden.

Trasplanting sunflower seedlings from cell tray into 4" pots so they don't get root-bound. Hopefully they go out in the garden in 2 to 3 weeks when the threat frost is gone.
