Hello, fellow members of Junction Triangle and Merry Christmas!
My name is Alexander, a graduate student studying Urban planning and Urban Design.
I am interested in how the Railpath affects our behavior and quality of life, also how to improve the space.
I wish to take 5 minutes of your precious time to ask about your thoughts on how you use and feel about the space.
I look forward to posting a summary of the results after the survey is completed.
Many thanks! Share it around!

TRAC is an artistic hub in Toronto’s West End. We offer classes, host events & rent studio space to facilitate
the practice of dance, fitness, theatre, vocal and visual arts for all ages & all levels.

We believe in community driven excellence.

This week's Artist Highlight!

✨@soft_aspects✨

Amelia was recently in the TRAC studios working on the development of a new work, with the support of the Toronto Arts Council and the Canada Council for the Arts.

Swipe to see a lovely collection of stills from their studio time. And check out our stories for some video clips!

To give some information about myself and the work:
I’m a q***r non-binary dance artist working on a new contemporary ballet about light, colour, and texture. My hope for this work is that it can exist as a solo, or as a group work, or as a work danced by children, or as a work danced by old people, or many other configurations. I’m always very interested in the “rules” of dance-making and trying to work within/against them.

Join @orintmcrey for FUSION class ➡️ Wednesdays at 6pm, in Studio!

Fusion (1 hour): Orin's Fusion class is curated to support cultural education and aims to foster a sense of play and empowerment. Get ready to dive into the movements, histories and infectious energy of African Diasporic dances including Salsa, Samba, Afro Cuban/Brazilian, Dancehall and more. Class will start with a yoga inspired warm up, a song of isolations/grooving to get us into our bodies and present in the moment, and a training session focusing on the dance styles featured that week. Half way through our time together, we will shift towards a short choreography bringing together the elements highlighted, finishing off with a cool down/stretch to alchemize all that we have learned! Fusion is always a unique exploration of styles that may also include elements of party grooves, contemporary, and sensual embodiment, for a rich physical experience for dancers of all levels. Prepare yourself to leave class sweaty, happy and with your head held high!
