Sid pruning an apple tree, Michael completing microcabling to support a climbing hydrangea vine, and some other fine pruning and clearance pruning across a trio of Leslieville yards on a recent job… and a neat, tidy yard afterwards with the perfect balance of sun and shade.

Michael taking down the last of the canopy on this Norway maple at the Beaches Public Library. Our full crew on site for a complex removal around busy sidewalks full of pedestrians, library patrons, and day camps, streetcar lines, hydro, and more. All in a day’s work!

Summer colours along the Meadoway in the hydro corridor near our shop in Scarborough. Most plants here are small native plants with a limited number of trees, but some native tree species you’ll see include white spruce, honey locust and red oak. The Meadoways were developed to improve wildlife habitat and native plant coverage through urban areas of Toronto

Looking to contribute to our city's tree canopy? Planting season is past, but you can volunteer to help recent plantings in Warden Woods park, not far from our Scarborough shop, by mulching and removing invasive species

James and crew rigging and removing a large Manitoba maple in a tight backyard space in Rosedale on a hot July day. When they’re done these two yards will look pristine again!

Cleared out some deadwood yesterday
This one had a fair bit tucked away up top. A solid summer prune keeps things safer and gives the tree a better shot at long-term health.
Summer’s a good time to check in on your trees… they do a lot of quiet work for us.
