What started as a “quick eavestrough fix” turned into one of those jobs where the house says, “𝘴𝘶𝘳𝘱𝘳𝘪𝘴𝘦… 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦’𝘴 𝘮𝘰𝘳𝘦 𝘨𝘰𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘰𝘯 𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦.” 😅

Once I opened things up, it didn’t take long to see the soffit box had been quietly dealing with moisture issues for a while - one of those problems that stays hidden until it decides not to anymore. 😅

Here’s what got sorted out:
🔨 Rebuilt the damaged soffit box
💧 Installed a brand-new eavestrough system
✅ Made sure everything is properly sealed and draining exactly where it should

A good reminder that eavestroughs aren’t just trim around the roofline - they’re part of your home’s first line of defence. When they’re not working properly, water has a funny way of finding places it absolutely shouldn’t be.

The good news? It’s all buttoned up now and ready for years of proper protection - and it cleaned up beautifully too.

These stairs had seen better days... probably about 20 years ago. 😬

The old set was just rough on the eyes. So we measured everything, built a brand-new set from scratch, and gave this homeowner a set of stairs that's safe, solid, and built the right way. 💪

This front porch had years of old coating hanging on for dear life. After a proper attack with a grinder wire brush, a lot of patience, and more dust than I'd like to admit, we finally got it ready for a fresh new finish.

The result? A clean, bright porch that completely freshens up the front entrance and gives it a whole new look. ✨

A little prep work goes a long way - and in this case, the prep was definitely the toughest part of the job.

This old garage door finally reached retirement age.

Was it pretty? 𝑵𝒐.

Was it straight? 𝑨𝒍𝒔𝒐 𝒏𝒐.

Did it have more character than most brand-new doors? 𝑨𝒃𝒔𝒐𝒍𝒖𝒕𝒆𝒍𝒚.

After years of service, some creative artwork from the homeowner, and enough wear and tear to tell a hundred stories, it was time for a replacement.

I modified the opening to fit the new door and sent this old beauty off into the sunset.

Honestly though...

Is this not the most beautiful ugly garage door you've ever seen? 😆
