Have you ever looked up the meaning of your name?

Recently, I took some time to reflect on the meaning of my name, "Lydia", and I was deeply inspired by the woman we read about in the Bible.

Lydia was a successful businesswoman who sold purple cloth, a luxury item in her day. More importantly, she was a woman of faith whose heart was open to God. She became one of the first recorded converts to Christianity in Europe and used her home, influence, and resources to support God's work.

The name Lydia has come to symbolize faith, leadership, generosity, hospitality, and influence. It reminds us that God can use our gifts, businesses, careers, and life experiences to impact others and advance His purpose.

As I reflect on her story, I am reminded that success is not just about what we achieve, but about how we use what God has entrusted to us. Like Lydia, I desire to remain open to God's leading, faithful in my work, generous in serving others, and courageous in pursuing the purpose He has placed on my life.

Today, my heart is filled with gratitude.

I am thankful for the gift of a new day, for God's grace that has carried me this far, and for the breath of life that many of us often take for granted. Waking up this morning is a blessing and a reminder that God is not finished with us yet.

No matter what this past week has brought, today is an opportunity to pause, reflect, and give thanks. Take a quiet moment to acknowledge God's goodness, thank Him for His faithfulness, and praise Him for the blessings seen and unseen.
