Congratulations to our first round of shelter get started obedience graduates!! These amazing dogs have worked for the last 4 weeks with a volunteer learning basic obedience skills such as sit, down, loose leash walking, as well as some other confidence building exercises.

All three of these wonderful boys are looking for their forever home. Make an appointment with the adoption team to meet them!

This handsome guy is a comedian and loves making people laugh! He’s such a good boy, loves to hangout outside, go for walks, and share snacks. He’s looking for an experienced, adult only home with high fences!

We’re so sorry for being so inactive here! We have been so extremely busy BUYING A HOME 🤩❤️ we have just moved in and are spending time unwinding with the dogs at home.

Some of the special puppies graduating to advanced training at the end of the summer 🥹 I’ve only had the pleasure of knowing them for the last 8 months but I’m so proud of these teams and the progress I’ve seen!

Rebel and Star ✨ Two very special adoptable dogs from who are looking for homes!

We took these two out for a walk away from the shelter to get some real world experience. Baseball diamonds full of kids playing ball, bikes, even other dogs. These two handled everything with stride and enjoyed each others company in the process.

Field trip day!! Last night some of the Calgary puppies ventured to IKEA to practice their skills in a very distracting environment. These guys did so well and we attracted quite the crowd. Good job puppies!

Meet Wick 🥰

A very special boy looking for a very special home. He’s about a year old and has been at the shelter for a few months working with the behavior team. Wick loves the B A L L and can play fetch for hours! He is figuring out how the world works after a rough start to his life. Sweet, smart, sensitive and kind.. he deserves his own place to call home ❤️

This is your sign to organize pack walks with your friends 🤩

We had a great time with 7 friends and 7 dogs at the park! Most of the dogs had never met and had a wonderful time getting to know one another, respecting space and enjoying the water together!

Another beautiful day means another outdoor class for us 🙌 We had a large group last week so we really focused on loose leash walking + dog distractions. Our second class practiced lots of out of sight position holds and some recall!
