We’re super lucky in Canada to get instant noodles from all around the world, so Amaara & I thought we had tried everything.

But just got new kimchi ramyun with REAL kimchi 🤯 we’ve only ever seen the dehydrated flakes before! No surprise the same company owns the No. 1 kimchi brand in the world, Jongga. We usually have a jar of Jongga kimchi in our fridge 🙌🏾

The two options are:
⭐️ Real kimchi ramyun noodle soup (Amaara’s fav)
⭐️ Real kimchi fiery stir-fried ramyun (my fav)

Which one would you try first 👀

I grew up with my Punjabi dad offering to make me his signature lassi every morning. If you didn’t know, this is our version of a smoothie!

Also, eating sufficient protein is something us and many other South Asian households haven’t historically discussed or been aware of. Even amidst this protein era we seem to be in, it feels like there hasn’t been the same innovation with our traditional foods.

For both reasons, I’m really excited about the new protein lassi options that are now available at locations across Canada!

Alongside the new bites as well, here is everything we got with prices:

🥭 Mango Protein Lassi - $7.49 (QC: $8.49)
🍊 Creamsicle Protein Lassi $7.49 (QC: $8.49)
🍓Strawberry Protein Lassi $7.49 (QC: $8.49)
🍗 House Karak Heat Fried Chicken - $12.49
🥔 House Karak Heat Tater Tots - $7.99
🌽 Masala Crunch Corn - $4.99

Everything is genuinely worth a try but my fave pairing would have to be the mango protein lassi + the masala crunch corn! A VERY filling and flavourful meal for under $15 🙌🏾

Which one are you trying first?

Amaara LOVES and has been wanting to take me for over 5 years now 😂 it finally worked out this winter and wow, I’ve been missing out. don’t be like me.

If you have been, any faves we didn’t try?? And are there any other AYCE Japanese BBQ spots you would suggest? We also like Shinta!

📍Gyubee, locations across Ontario and some elsewhere in Canada. We went to the one on Bloor.

Below is my top 5 things to order from this $48 AYCE dinner:

- Nagoya style chicken wings
- All the marinated briskets & steaks, especially garlic and miso
- Prime kalbi
- Everything you need for pork belly ssam (lettuce wraps) + the mini bibimbap (on its own but also in the wraps 🔥)
- Creme brulee, 5-50 is acceptable 😂

So far, Amaara has taken my Keg and Gyubee virginity, and both were amazing. I really should try all her faves sooner 😂

My mission to try Indigenous food across Canada continues, and this is the last of a 4 part miniseries in Québec with

We’re in , a Wendat community just 15-20 minutes drive from Québec City. Save/share this Reel for your next time in the region!

I would highly encourage staying overnight at .

Below is everywhere we ate:

1️⃣

⭐️ Located within the hotel, definitely have breakfast here if you’re staying overnight!
⭐️ We loved the lunch prix fixe menu, with courses of charcuterie, a Montréal smoked boar meat sandwich and a generous dessert platter

2️⃣ Restaurant Yahwatsira

⭐️ This has to be the best food you can get at a community hockey arena anywhere in the country!
⭐️ The menu always has seasonal dishes & specials. We’re so glad we tried the sagamité soup and the duck confit poutine - one of the best poutines of our life!

3️⃣ .qc La Sagamité

⭐️ A STUNNING restaurant and excellent service, you can tell this is a dinner destination people to from far & wide
⭐️ The move is to go with a set menu which features their most iconic dishes. A gorgeous charcuterie ft. lots of local game meats, the decadent maple pie for dessert and of course, Yatista - tableside flambeed game meats!

In between meals, here are just a few of the many things to do in Wendake:

🎆 a visually stunning, self-guided nightwalk that we’ll never forget
ℹ️ shares the history and culture of the Wendat Nation
🔥 and others share traditional stories and sing fireside in the longhouse, booked through the
🪵 brings history to life in a meticulous reconstruction of a 17th century Wendat village
