This little bridal party commission is off to its people! If you’ve been to a bachelorette, you know the most important thing you’re going to drink is your hangover coffee the next day. I started by designing the wordmark in illustrator and then after I made all 11 vessels, I hand painted them and the result is a pretty cute cult of cups 💁🏻‍♀️ ☕️

I’m going to blame it on the weather that the most recent pieces coming out of the kiln are… warmer…

Working on some soft little moments.

First kiln unload of the new year! This custom order is for the new office. The two company heads were looking for different things in their coffee cups but with a bit of collaboration and experimentation I was able to create something that made everyone happy. The result is a set that is visually similar yet distinctly handmade.

2025 brought some big milestones (swipe to the end for probably the biggest one?). I’ve been slinging ceramics ‘seriously’ for about 3 years now and it’s so satisfying to see that this project just keeps growing. I’m learning what works for me but is also connecting with *you* in the most meaningful ways and here’s the data to prove it!

Some other 2025 highlights:

- Connected with new members of the community across this country 🇨🇦 special shout out to who sent me tools to try, got me hooked and continues to be such a positive force in Canadian small business.
- Did a pottery class with to reset my brain, slow down, connect with people and make some art just for me (this was shockingly difficult) —— and ——, I also got to meet and learn from some other local creative forces .aranha thank you 💕
- Taught myself how to change the elements in my kiln and didn’t burn the house down (yay!)
- Connected with tons of new makers after posting some of my chaos goblin pottery hacks videos.

Looking forward:

- I hope to partner with more brands I love
- give wholesale a shot
- host a kids clay workshop and/or a corporate workshop
- try Raku or be part of a wood firing retreat with

Thank you to every single person who supported this work either with a kind word, spot on your market roster, held the door open for me while I tried to ‘one trip’ my entire market set up to the car, held some space for venting/cheering (.ceramics .ceramics) and of course, every person who made a purchase, especially *in this economy*. It’s personal, meaningful and continues to be possible because you show up for slow, human made art. ❤️‍🔥 Lastly, thank you to the event organizers who are giving us the space and doing it with so much heart and enthusiasm for art: .welcome.market .markets .market

Tiny tomatoes and other cute things I don’t eat coming to you on a mug for this Saturday + Sunday 🍅

Behold, Marie! (aka Lambshead) You can find this little chaos goblin in her basement ceramic studio. Minimum 2 coffees deep, covered in clay, listening to millennial emo or pop punk on stun and occasionally shoving a slice of pizza into her mouth for sustenance when the hyper focus breaks.
