We’re so excited to announce our upcoming EMPOWER CAMP in partnership with Uoft’s Womens Basketball, a special community fundraiser in support of & the Native Canadian Centre of Toronto (NCCT). ❤️🧡
On December 14th, Jump Thru Hoops will be hosting friends, families, campers, and community partners at the UofT Goldring Centre for a day of skill-building, leadership, and empowerment for our youth.
This camp is extra meaningful to us because it also kicks off our Annual Holiday Toy Drive, where we come together to support Indigenous youth and families during the holiday season. 🎁✨
We are gratefully accepting in-kind donations, and as we head into the colder months, winter gear is especially welcomed, coats, gloves, hats, socks, and essentials go a long way in supporting our community.
We’re incredibly grateful to our coaches, supporters, and sponsors, including Stikeman Elliott for standing with us in creating spaces where young people feel seen, supported, and inspired.
Please join us in cheering on our campers and consider making a donation.
Together, we continue to lift communities, one camp and one act of generosity at a time. 🧡🏀

✨ Jump Thru Hoops is going international! ✨
No trip feels complete without connecting with youth through the game we love. We’re so grateful to have had the chance to share time on the court and donate jerseys to a community where they’re truly needed. 🏀❤️
Basketball is more than a sport—it’s a bridge, a source of hope, and a reminder that opportunities should know no borders.
Thank you for joining me on this journey.

What an unforgettable weekend in Victoria. ✨
We had the privilege of hosting an all-Indigenous girls basketball camp, and the impact was nothing short of life-changing. Watching these young athletes step onto the court with courage, joy, and determination was a powerful reminder of why creating access and safe spaces matters so deeply.
Basketball was our conduit, but the real magic was in the smiles, the breakthroughs, and the sense of belonging these girls carried home. Moments like these are about more than sport — they’re about empowerment, confidence, and community.
A heartfelt thank you to Scott Lake and The Lake Family’s All One Fund for making this dream a reality. Your vision and generosity are helping us break barriers and open doors for the next generation of leaders.
And a special thank you to our incredible coaches, Savanna Hamilton and Jessica Roque, for empowering these young female athletes and ensuring this weekend was filled with fun, growth, and sisterhood. Your leadership made it truly unforgettable.
The future is bright — and it looks unstoppable.

This past weekend was all about basketball—highlighting some of the top high school talent from across the country at the Cwench All Canadian Games.
For the first time ever, we were proud to showcase some of the most talented Indigenous players from coast to coast.
This moment wouldn’t have been possible without the incredible support of our CEO and Founder, Sheron Lau, Grand Chief Daniels of Southern Manitoba, and our friends at Athletes Institute, Alex Dominato and Jesse Tipping.
This experience has left a lasting impact on the next generation of Indigenous athletes—an unforgettable moment that marks the beginning of something bigger.
