Enviro-reuse-nerds unite!! 🤓♾️
The PAC Global Reusable Packaging Innovation Showcase at was a good time for those who live, eat and sleep environmental protection through reusable packaging 🤣😂😂
Our panel - “Reuse at Major Events: The Growing Success of Reusable Packaging in Sports and Entertainment” - got the crowd laughing, asking great questions, and totally tuned in.
Felt less like a conference, more like a celebration of how far reuse has come 💪
We got to share the stage with this fantastic crew:
Anthony Merante — Oceana Canada
Emily Alfred — Toronto Environmental Alliance
Myron McLelland — City of Toronto
Moderated by Justinas Staskevicius — ECCC
(These people ☝️are making reuse happen)
From Coldplay’s Toronto concerts to local festivals like the Garlic Fest, we showed that reuse isn’t theory anymore - it’s happening, it’s scalable, and yeah… it’s fun when done right.

✨ Big energy at this year’s ✨
1,700 amazing humans walked 21 km and raised over $3.6 MILLION for 💪💖 That’s impact !!
We were stoked to be part of it — keeping things green with reusable cups, plates + utensils for breakfast + lunch. Over 8,000 items in circulation, zero single-use waste vibes 🙌🌍
Massive shoutout to our crew, especially Eric, who held it down on site and made sure the reusables flowed like clockwork 🔥
Proof that you can smash fundraising goals and keep it sustainable. 👟💚

Live from , Coldplay’s world tour is setting a new standard for sustainability in Canadian stadiums. With support from .ca and , over 100,000 reusable cups will replace single-use plastic and aluminum cans across four epic nights in Toronto.
After each show, cups are collected in orange bins, professionally washed, and returned for reuse the very next night. This isn’t just a concert—it’s a reusable revolution, and it’s artists like who are driving real change.
👉 Follow .ca to see what reuse looks like at scale.
📢 A big shout out to for providing us with durable cups that can be reused hundreds of times for concerts like this!!

The result?
A practical set of project management guidelines and templates — built for project managers — to help cities confidently plan and scale reuse initiatives.
Huge thanks to the team for their deep research, commitment, and the actionable tools they created.

On Friday, Sofiya & Scott from our Canada team participated in the Reuse for Stadiums workshop hosted by Oceana at Toronto’s City Hall—part of the growing conversation around ⚽️FIFA 2026 ⚽️ and how major sports events 🏀 🏒 🎾 ⛳️ can shift away from single-use food & drink packaging. ❌🥤🥡
Who was in the room?
- Representatives from all levels of government (Toronto, Vancouver, Ontario, BC, and Canada)
- Venue operators from Toronto, Vancouver, and the US
- Reuse providers, industry experts & key stakeholders
Globally, large-scale sporting events are already making the switch to reusable systems 🔄🥛—but Toronto has yet to take this step… With FIFA 2026 on the horizon, the decisions made now will define the legacy this event leaves behind. 👣
Scott presented the ways in which Muuse has been leading the way in reusables at Toronto events & how we’ve managed to consistently maintain 95%+ return rates, even at ungated street festival with 1000’s of attendees! 🎉
If Toronto embraces reuse, it won’t just be keeping up—it will be leading the shift away from single-use on the world stage! 🌎
Stay tuned…
