SO thrilled to meet with Daniel Levitt and the Office of the Seniors Advocate with the BC United Caucus. As leader of KinVillage Association, we worked with Dan a lot and he was the best advocate for seniors - he navigated complex, sad, and often insurmountable odds to follow through for every senior. He delivered every time and no call was too small for him. So thrilled he's leading the office - I can't think of a better person to advocate for the needs of Seniors in BC.

The rain held off just long enough for the Cloverdale Rodeo's annual parade this morning. It was great to see so many people in attendance.
Have a great long weekend!
NDP Premier David Eby promised that people would feel safe in their communities. Eighteen months later, and nothing could be further than the truth.
Today in Question Period I asked the Premier why he's failed to deliver the safer communities he promised?

Amazing to hear Danny Trejo last night at the 13th annual Turning Point Recovery Society Gala. A great actor - and a great advocate for recovery.
Today, BCU Shadow Minister for Mental Health & Addictions addressed the House of Commons
Select Standing Committee on Health regarding the profound failure of David Eby's NDP in responding to British Columbia's overdose crisis.

Congratulations to all the winners of the Democracy & Me Art Contest including Chloe Chiang from South Surrey! Great to meet you here at the BC Legislature.
British Columbians are feeling unsafe amid daily violence, crime, and stabbings.
Today I asked the Premier when he will stop enabling prolific offenders and start putting the right of people to be safe ahead of a violent criminal’s right to reoffend?
