We’ve got big news! 3F Waste Recovery is formally rebranding itself as Collaskins, reflecting our laser-focus on the best-quality seafood pet treats around. Additionally, we’re expanding our leadership team, as National Sales Manager Janice Saunders will be taking charge as CEO. Founder and current CEO Ben Wiper will be transitioning to Chief Operations Officer (COO), while Business Communications Specialist David Caldwell will ascend to Chief Communications Officer.

Janice has over twenty years’ experience in service and sales, bringing those skills and her expertise to the table. She previously served as Collaskins’ National Sales Manager, forging relationships with clients across North America. “I am very excited and honoured to be stepping in as the new CEO,” she says. “Collaskins is my passion and I cannot wait to grow this company into a global brand.” For his part, David offers over ten years’ professional experience in developing and implementing communications strategies as a writer and teacher, and says he is excited by the prospect of transitioning his skills to the Ocean Economy. “It’s exhilarating to bring my skills to such an innovative sector,” he remarks. “It won’t be easy–but it will be worth the effort!”

Collaskins’ products are now in over 100 stores across Canada, with numbers rising weekly and also sold directly to consumers in Canada via our Shopify store, with USA sales coming soon! “Collaskins is starting to become a household name in Atlantic Canada,” Janice says. “We listened to what the market wanted and we have provided a catalog of high quality, healthy treats that pets and pet parents love!”
