Heaven Sent Havanese

Usually when a litter arrives I'm filled with excitement and anticipation.

Unfortunately this was not the case with Sophie's recent litter. She required an emergency c section and was one week before her due date.

The puppies were very premature. No hair, underdeveloped lungs and no suckle reflex. It's been weeks of sadness, hopelessness and despair. We started with 8 beautiful babies but are presently down to 3 and I'm praying that there are no more losses).

I've decided to call them the

HEARTBREAK LITTER 💔

Lucy finished off her Championship this weekend at the Burlington Kennel Club.

Thanks to Jennifer McClintock-Shirley for handling her and Judge H Brian Reid for awarding Lucy with her final points.

I'm also grateful to Debra Weatherford for breeding my beautiful fiesty girl.
