Rocher Deboule traverse Day 3/4

32km, 3300m vert, 15h

From cloudy -> bluebird -> 100km/h+ winds. Started out with some glacier travel, did some ridge walking into good spring skiing. Then it turned into an epic trying to get to shelter/back to the car with these ridiculous winds.

Day 2 of the Rocher Deboule traverse March 2024

16km, 1500m vert, 7h

Cloudy and somewhat windy. Ran into 2 other groups. Great campspot near a creek -> time to rehydrate. No wind made for a great nights sleep.

Sunny and calm until we got to camp, high camp, so no access to open water.

From a early season trip up to Stewart last year. Scored some great pow and nice views.

Sunsets like this remind me why I chase the mountains. Each one is a promise—a reminder that the journey is just as beautiful as the destination. Whether it’s the calm before a big line or the glow after a long day, moments like these fuel the soul.

Located near Smithers, BC, this stunning couloir is as beautiful as it is demanding. Having skied it before, I know the mix of adrenaline and awe that comes with tackling its steep walls and deep snow. This winter, I’m preparing to return and share every part of the journey with you—from scouting to summiting to dropping in.
