The Latin Lovers are a well known Latin Fusion band that came together in 2019, originating from our very own West Kootenays with some of the best musicians this area has to offer. Our leader is Juan Rizzatti from Argentina, he plays an outstanding array of instruments like guitar, accordion, didgeridoo, harmonica, pan flutes and drone flutes he builds himself. We have the captivating, Vern Wakunick, that brings her high energy with vocals and percussion to every stage she steps foot on. She ignites the audience with her timbale and alternate percussion. Our bass man, Mike Roy, makes your b***y move with his bodacious bass rhythms and baritone harmony vocals that fill your soul. Next in our lineup is the classiest member of all, Carl Redden. He brings a whole new light to what it means to be a brass player by tying every last note and beat together in perfect harmony with his trombone and trumpet skills. Trevor Scott is our beat master on congas, bongos, djembe and tabla. In the world of music he is a diamond to be treasured, we are so lucky to have him. We have a new member, Ryan Telegdy who kicks everything up a notch with his sexy guitar solos. You won’t be able to take your ears off of him! Saving the very best for last, the back bone of our music is our drummer, Darryl Hosquet. He is the driving force behind our “get up and shake your tail feathers” sound. Seven members come together to put on incredible performances that make you dance all night long.
We have our favourite DJ,Fattycakes, joining us. His big beats and perfect BPM make you kick it into high gear. He is well known from playing many sets at Fractal Forest at Shambhala. He is funky and he is smooth. We are stoked to be collaborating with him. Join us and see what we have in store for you!
Finley's Bar & Grillis rolling out a dinner and drink special, so arrive early and stay late as you dance the night away. Dress to impress, lace up those dancing shoes, and let’s set the stage ablaze! Show starts at 8pm. Tickets are $25 online and $30 at the door.
