Hey! Our power has been out since Thursday night at the farmstand. The veggies that in there are by donation right now, until the power comes back on. They're still looking alright but probably wont keep as long as usual since the fridge doesn't work with no power. there’s still some really nice veggies in there that need to get eaten soon. 3876 woykin road (Honey is still full price)
Enjoy

We borrowed 6 w**d eaters from to root out a morning glory/bind w**d problem that we have. They’re the sweetest w**d eaters I’ve ever seen! In other news our CSA veggie boxes start this week! It’s our biggest CSA season yet. We are starting with 60 weekly veggie box customers! We are full for the first few boxes but if you want to get on the wait list send an email, we’ll have more space later in the season.

Our new heated greenhouse has a little extra room for some early cucumbers that we hope will be making an appearance in the CSA boxes and farmstand early this season. After tonight’s predicted cold weather these baby spinach and salad turnips are getting transplanted out into the big greenhouse where we’ve seeded kale, radishes, lettuce, cilantro. It’s the opening notes of the big veggie symphony we’ve got planned for the year.

You can lock in fresh food for the whole season by signing up for one of our weekly veggie boxes. It’s a great way to commit to eating healthy and enjoying local produce all summer long. Plus, its a great way to support local food security 😉

Our first box goes out around May long weekend, and you’ll receive a fresh box every week until mid-October.

Going away for part of the season? No problem. Just let us know and you can put that box’s value toward extra veggie add-ons or storage crops later in the year.

Signing up is easy — just fill out the form and pay a $50 deposit to reserve your spot.

It feels like a miracle but we managed to finally finish our heated greenhouse just in time to get seeds started. Working on tables and having a climate controlled environment for our seedlings is going to be a real game changer. So far we planted spinach some herbs, tomatoes, onions, leeks and peppers. We are excited to have started some dye plants for the today that will be a part of their natural dye course that they’re offering. Just a reminder that if you haven’t signed up for our Csa yet, but you want to now is the time.
