Each month, a new piece of artwork is displayed on the easel at Selkirk Regional Health Centre. Visitors, patients, staff, and community members are invited to submit their bids. The highest bidder takes home the artwork, and all proceeds support the Interlake-Eastern Health Foundation.

Thanks to your generosity, this initiative with Funding Innovation raised more than $800 last year to support healthcare close to home!

The next time you're at the hospital, stop by the easel, place a bid, and you might just discover your next favourite piece of art.

Thank you to everyone who has participated and helped make a difference in our community.

This evening, the Camp Stepping Stones team will welcome our 2026 campers!

Our hearts are full because we are once again overwhelmed by the generosity of our communities. Because of you, 40 grieving children will spend this weekend surrounded by care, compassion, and connection and know they are not alone.

There will be tears. There will be laughter. There will be new friendships and moments of healing—because no child should have to walk through grief alone.

Thank you for making this possible.

This Thankful Tuesday our gratitude is directed at our donors. Because of your generosity Rosewood Lodge in Stonewall is added some chirping, colour, and joy!

After the loss of Ozzy the cockatiel — a much-loved companion to residents and staff — there was a noticeable emptiness in the home. Wanting to bring that special companionship back, the recreation team worked with residents to explore different bird options, complete with the pros and cons of each.

The residents voted, and Rhondda (the blue budgie) and Harris (the green budgie) are now happily calling Rosewood home!

“They are adjusting well to their new home, are brightly coloured and quite chatty, and the residents are loving them,” shared Recreation Coordinator Shelly.

Thank you to our donors for investing in care and community!
