Let’s talk healthy soil 🪴As we’ve shared before, healthy soil = healthy plants. Scroll to see how long the roots of plants can be when they reach that rich deep soil 🤌
Improving soil health can take time and is different with each farmer and with each season. Here’s how we champion it 👇
🌱Stewardship of the land & treating soil as a living organism
🔬Breakthrough bio stimulant research
📱Traceability through our True Crops™ app to empower farmers and provide data access for businesses and retail partners
🥛Increasing regenerative product access on retail shelves
📚Providing an inclusive platform for education and connectivity
Curious about the difference between dirt and soil? 🪴 Let’s break it down:
Dirt –
“Dirt” is degraded soil that has poor structure, texture, and lacks the minerals, nutrients and living organisms found in soil aka it’s less capable of sustaining plant life. The goal of regenerative farming is to transform dirt into healthy, vibrant soil through practices that restore and enhance soil health.
Soil –
At PACRIDGE, we treat soil like a living organism. Healthy soil = healthy plants. When the diet of your soil is good, it creates healthier soil, better crops, and bigger yields. Improving soil health is a balance of art and science for each farmer. It can take time—even YEARS—for a farm to transition to regenerative farming practices to bring its soil and crops back to life.

What is regenerative farming exactly? We’re glad you asked 🧑🌾
Regenerative farming works with nature to reverse soil degradation and builds up the soil to maximize the efficiency of water and biomatter producing a more sustainable, superior crop for people to eat from seed to shelf 🌾
Creating a healthier diet for plants starts with soil health. At PACRIDGE we treat soil like a living organism and regenerative farming is the science and soul of our soil. Though soil varies with various climates and environmental scenarios, there are a few core principles we find most regenerative farmers would agree on:
🌾Continuously improving soil health
🌬️Reducing carbon emissions
💧 Enabling practices for water preservation
🌽Improved crop nutrient and protein densities
🚜Fighting against soil erosion with no tilling practices
❌Efficient use to minimize and reduce synthetic fertilizer applications
Currently, there is not an industry, or government body regulating protocols for regenerative agriculture. For Pacridge, we strive to hold metrics above national benchmark through soil and MRL testing, and crop input limits.
