On January 24, 1989, Ted Bundy died at Florida State Prison, bringing an end to one of the most widely known criminal cases in U.S. history.

Convicted in multiple homicide cases, Bundy had received a death sentence from Edward Cowart, who described his actions as “extremely wicked, shockingly evil, and vile.” That phrase would become permanently associated with the case.

In his final hours, Bundy remained composed. He made phone calls, spoke with investigators, and gave additional statements about the case—some of which were viewed as attempts to delay the scheduled sentence. When offered a final statement, he expressed love for his family but did not directly address those harmed or their families.

That morning, he was led into the chamber where the sentence would be carried out. Witnesses observed in silence as the procedure took place.

At 7:06 a.m., the sentence was carried out.

Outside the prison, crowds had gathered—some holding signs, others reacting as news spread. The response reflected how deeply the case had affected the public. For many, it was a sense of justice. For others, it raised difficult questions about punishment, closure, and the lasting impact of violent acts.

While that day marked the end of Bundy’s life, it did not erase what had happened.

The victims and their families were left with a legacy that extended far beyond a single moment. Cases like this continue to be studied—not to sensationalise—but to understand, to remember, and to prevent future harm.

Because the true story is not about the man himself—

These pictures were taken at Alcatraz prison. A ghost-like figure appearing at the window of an Alcatraz prison block has baffled the couple who took it. The spooky picture was taken by Sheila Sillery-Walsh at Alcatraz Federal Penitentiary, off the coast of San Francisco, California.
In the spooky image, the shadowy girl can be seen staring directly through the window at the camera from inside the inmates' visitation waiting room. Teaching assistant Sheila Sillery-Walsh from Birmingham took the photo on her iPhone 5c when she visited the former prison in April while on holiday in San Francisco with her partner, Paul Rice........ GHOSTLY ANOMALIES CAPTURED IN HAUNTED HOME IN BLACKPOOL, LANCASHIRE
These pictures belong to a lady called Angela B. She shared them with well know paranormal researcher Chris Halton (much respect) she said that her son took the pictures with her camera. She said in the past she had heard the toilet seat slam and seen a black cat, which I felt walk up her legs to her chest, then felt it do the paw thing they do when they get cozy.. She didn't have a cat at the the time. There has also been other paranormal incidents a few too many to list but you get the idea....... Thoughts?

Emma woke up in shock from her sleep she felt something touch her face. When she opened her eyes there was a face right near hers. It was the face that scared her. It was torn, tattered, bloody and looked like someone took a leg razor down its face. It started to choke her. she couldn't breathe. she kicked and screamed. but it wouldn't lay off. Finally she passed out. When she woke up it was gone, and there were marks on her neck. This photo was taken in her town library. This all happened in Pullman, Washington on NE Wheatland Drive, Apt. A on 2017 April 19th........ Thoughts?

Mysterious phone calls from the dead make for excellent horror movie plots, but this eerie phenomenon also happens in real life. Many stories of unexplained phone calls show that they're not just the result of grief-stricken imaginings. Although people try to explain these odd occurrences by blaming malfunctioning cell phone technology, reports of phantom phone calls go back to at least 1967.
Charles E. Peck's Metrolink death is one of the most prominent and creepy stories about phone calls from dead people since author Dean Koontz's deceased mother phoned to give him a warning. Peck was killed instantly in a horrible 2008 Metrolink commuter train accident where a total of 25 people died and 135 were injured. But before anyone knew Peck was dead, his family members received 35 calls from his phone for several hours following the disaster.
49-year-old Charles Peck worked for Delta Airlines. He was considering leaving his job in Salt Lake City International Airport for a job at Van Nuys Airport in Los Angeles to be closer to his fiancée, Andrea Katz, and had an interview there. Although the couple was ready to get married, the fact that they didn't live in the same state was an issue.
Then, the disaster occurred. Katz was on her way to pick him up from the train station when she heard the news of the accident on the radio. Peck had three children from a previous marriage, one of whom was on his afterlife phone call list.

Hello - I would like your thoughts on this photograph taken at Brymbo Social Club Wrexham. Zoom in on the windows behind the guy sitting in the background - there's not just the main ghost looking through the window but lots of faces and images 4/5 at last count !
