We’re still here, we’ve just been spending more time on the tools than we have on the socials. It must be summer or something…

It’s officially deck season, and these happy customers are excited that we got done in time to enjoy every bit of it!

And just like that, deck season is under way. There’s still time to get on the schedule before it’s summer, but it’s limited!

With nearly 14 feet of ceiling height on this oversized garage, provisions for a future storage mezzanine over the workbench area will make sure there’s plenty of room for both storage and shop work for our customers.

When site conditions aren’t conventional, neither are the solutions.

This garage is too tall to set trusses by hand, and power lines in the alley prevented us from using a crane in the conventional manner, which is to say from outside the building.

Luckily, those tall walls meant a tall door, so with a bit of brainstorming we couldn’t find a good reason to bring in a smaller picker and fly the trusses from INSIDE the building. At Roth Contracting, there are no problems, just solutions.

A nice little deck roof will keep things snow free in the winter and dry the rest of the year for these happy customers.

Why not start October with a quick little garage frame for our friends at ?

Yesterday was a rainy Friday. It was also a good day to try something a little different for us.

We were slinging deck in the rain today, and it actually felt kind of nice.

Big views call for big windows, which require big walls. This window is 9’ high and nearly 8’ wide, and will be the center piece in a great room that’s just under 15’ at the peak of a grand vaulted ceiling. Anything less with a view like this would be an injustice.

A fresh start with a great view. I can’t think of a better way to start a week.
