Today is my Mom’s heavenly birthday. She would have been 96 💛🍰🥳

Days like today always remind me that love does not really leave us. Even though we cannot see our loved ones the way we once did, the bond is still there. In Spiritualism we believe that life continues and that those we love are still close, still aware, and still with us in their own way.

So today I light a candle for her . To remember her beautiful spirit, and honour her life with love and gratitude.💛💛💛

A gentle reminder for today…
Inhale peace. Exhale stress.
Inhale love. Exhale fears.
Inhale calm. Exhale worries.

Sometimes all we need is one slow breath to bring ourselves back. 💫

This week I had to fly home to attend the funeral of my beautiful mother-in-law Thelma . A woman I truly adored and loved so deeply. 🤍🕊️ She was elegant, funny, and full of care. One of those rare people who just made everyone feel comfortable and welcome the moment they walked into a room. 💫 She had such a beautiful sense of humor, a quiet strength, and a presence people were naturally drawn to. 🌷 I always say I was blessed with the best mother-in-law anyone could ever hope for, and I truly mean that with all my heart. 🤍✨🕊️

One of the most powerful things I saw this week was the family she created coming together. Watching my husband and his siblings, along with their children, grandchildren, and even great-grandchildren all in one place was so moving. 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦🤍 So many generations together, sharing stories, laughter, tears, and memories. 💞 In those moments you could really see the life she built and the love she leaves behind. It reminded me that a person’s real legacy is the love and family they create in this world. 🤍✨🌿

Some people think that because I am a medium, loss must be easier for me. That somehow knowing about spirit makes grief less heavy. But the truth is, love is love, and when someone you care about leaves this physical world, the missing is still very real. 💔🤍🕊️

Even with my faith and the work I do connecting with spirit, it is still very hard watching the people I love grieve. Seeing my family struggle. Sitting with them in those moments. Watching the tears for someone who meant so much to all of us. 😢🤍 Knowing the soul continues does not take away the human side of loss. It just gently reminds us that love doesn’t end. ✨🕊️🤍

Grief isn’t about not knowing they continue on. It’s about how deeply we loved them while they were here with us. And when someone has been loved as much as she was, the grief is just as deep. 🤍💫

As we gathered for her funeral, it was a quiet and powerful reminder of a life so deeply loved and a family held together by that love. 🕊️🤍✨👨‍👩‍👧‍👦

I’m really excited to be part of this event, especially since it’s happening the same weekend as the demonstration .💖 It’s going to be such a special few days.

I’ll be working alongside some of my favourite mediums, which makes it even more meaningful.
