Today we acknowledge the permanent closure of the Northwood Pulp Mill here in Prince George.

As a local company, we had the privilege of providing safety training to many members of the Northwood team over the last couple of years. I think Kyle spent more time there last year than at our office.
While our role was small, it was a privilege to support the Northwood team through training and to work with so many dedicated professionals.

This closure is more than the loss of a mill—it's the loss of jobs and an important part of our community's forestry legacy. Our thoughts are with the employees, their families, and everyone affected.

We stand with our forestry community today and always. 💚
