Loved bringing this beauty to life and dropping it into the absolute vibe that is The Broadview Hotel
The entire day looked so thoughtfully planned—and honestly, every detail just hit. You could really feel the bride and groom’s vision of an elegant yet fun celebration shining through in every moment (the kind of wedding you actually wish you were a guest at).
Aasma kept the brief simple (the best kind): semi-naked, lots of fresh florals, and absolutely no choosing sides—chocolate and vanilla.
So happy I got to be a small part of such a special day.
In life, you meet a lot of people… but every once in a while, someone walks in and just becomes part of your story
What started as a simple Blues Clues cake for her son’s 1st birthday a few years back turned into something way sweeter—a friendship built on kindness, big hearts, and genuine love for people.
So when she asked me to play a small part in her wedding day… I was all in. No hesitation. Just pure excitement (and maybe a little happy dance behind the scenes )
Now let’s talk cake…Simple on the outside—but behind the scenes? A full day of baking, filling, stacking, and a whole lot of “okay… let’s nail this” energy
• 3 slab cakes — vanilla bean, luscious lemon curd, and raspberry compote. A lemon wedding cake for the bride & groom. Chocolate cupcakes to sweeten the celebration
Every single piece made with love—but the real highlight? Seeing smile. That pure, glowing, this-is-my-day kind of happiness… that’s what makes it all worth it
Thank you, my friend, for trusting me to be part of such a special chapter. Your love for people shines so brightly—and I’m forever grateful ours started with cake
(Last photos are my upclose photos before I headed to the venue )
Congratulations Alyia and Nadeem !

Espresso yourself — it’s the last Christmas gathering of the season.
Homemade Tiramisu Charlotte cake with espresso-kissed layers, ladyfingers all dressed up, chocolate-topped, and tied with a bow like the gift it is.
A fun-filled day with our cousins, delicious food, endless laughs, and some very precious Ms. Clara time.
Because if you’re bringing dessert to a family get-together with cousins, you might as well make it a little extra. Always.
Baked with love, a little sass, and zero regrets.

Tonight’s bake: mini baguettes
Perfect little sidekicks to our pasta dinner.
Got a little extra golden thanks to good conversation with a friend and a forgotten timer — but honestly?
Still absolute perfection — crunchy, warm, and made with love (and a bit of distraction).
10/10 would bake again.

Tell me what you want, what you really, really want…
CINNAMON. SUGAR. TWISTS.
The weather is rude, so I made cinnamon sugar twists to restore balance.
Beating the winter blues one warm, fluffy bite at a time.
If loving cinnamon sugar twists this much is wrong, I don’t want to be right.
Warm. Fluffy. Coated in happiness.

Soft, fluffy, filled with vanilla bean goodness — these cream puffs are basically a holiday hug you can eat.
Holiday calories don’t count… right ?

Show me a better way to spend a Sunday afternoon than feeding cows apple fritters… I’ll wait.
I’m so grateful to have been invited to visit Minicow Canada today in Newtonville, Durham Region — what an absolute blast!
I got to meet and feed Kevin the peacock (strutting his stuff like the true feathered diva he is ), Philomena the turkey, the lovely Ms. Cocoa the mini Highland cow, Ruthie, Toast, Stella, Lou, and a whole barnyard full of cuties whose names I lost track of because I was too busy squealing with joy.
The cows LOVE apple fritters — ( swipe for video) and I was udderly thrilled to bring fresh homemade ones from my kitchen. Talk about a moo-velous treat for the girls!
A massive thank you for the invite and the unforgettable experience. My heart is officially full… and so are the cows.
If you want this much fun with an up-close, personal farm visit (or an amazing photo session!), send them a DM to book your own barnyard adventure!

Crème brûlée magic
There’s just something about real vanilla bean that makes this dessert feel extra luxurious… and that glorious crackle when you tap through the caramelized top? Pure bliss.
