A little more details from the day! It all came together so perfectly 😍

We had a costume section in case someone came without one. We had lots of treats and I made the kids personalized cauldrons to take home. We also had a live caricature artist and magician. Plus, we had a Filipino version of a piñata called pabitin at the end.

Alright so let’s catch up - I’ll start off with posting my son’s first birthday last year! This took months of planning in between naps and sleepless nights.

It was a costume party since his birthday is near the end of October. It was such a coincidence that the colour theme matched our costumes! We dressed up as the different dojos from . Obviously red had to be there!

My dad helped me make the backdrops. I painted them and added some vinyl lettering. My vision came to life better than I imagine with the help of 🎈Her balloon arch and centrepieces were perfection! I also DIY’d our costumes (except James’) - bought our karate gi’s on FB marketplace, had to dye white fabric to red and added some iron on logos.

Wow I can’t believe it’s been a year since I’ve posted! While I’ve been MIA in posting the few things I’ve done over the year, I’ve been here scrolling through IG still checking out and supporting everyone’s work when I can☺️

Motherhood has been the most rewarding yet challenging thing I’ve ever done. I thought I would be able to take on things while on mat leave but then life happened. It was hard and the little time that I got to myself, I just wanted to sleep or relax. I also wanted to spend time with my family and not have to worry about anything else.

Then, I went back to work (six months earlier than I had planned!). So then, life happened again. This time, we all had to adjust to a different routine. My work life is very busy and keeping up with things at home got tough. It’s hard to make time for anything creative and for my mental health, I had to “give” up something because I know I can’t handle it all. While I hope it’s temporary, it’s definitely been the right decision for me.

I still cannot commit to coming back but I do hope to find some time to get creative for myself. I miss interacting with a lot of you and I’ve been feeling a lot of FOMO over here! So I’ll be spamming you guys for a bit with a couple of things I did this past year to catch up!

My little guy is now six months! We celebrated with a Batman themed halfway to one party last week 🎉

In the past months, 90% of the things I’ve made were for him. Now that’s he’s taking longer naps and sleeping better, I hope to be able to find more time to do other things! I’ve taken a couple of projects to slowly get back into it before opening up. Looking forward to getting creative once again 🥰

Today, I turned 33 ✨
It was a day full of snuggles, coffee and lots of delicious food. A quiet birthday in our home with our sweet boy and I couldn’t ask for more.

Motherhood has been keeping me busy so I’m giving myself a little more time before I start taking things on. Snuggles has been the priority over here! 🥰

In the meantime, I’ll just be over here cheering and admiring everyone else’s beautiful work! ✨

After the holidays, I’m slowly going to start accepting new commissions! I’m really excited to make beautiful things for all of you again 🥰

Just popping by to say hi to everyone! Been a little MIA because it’s been crazy hectic at work - thankfully I’m now officially on maternity leave. It’s also been crazy trying to pack/unpack and move into the house.. hopefully I get another week or so to just do more prep before the baby comes.

I know it’ll be even busier when the baby is here but I welcome all the sleepless nights and challenges.. we’ve been waiting for our little one for four years and we are so excited for all the things that will come our way as new parents.
