I am a lapidary artist who carves all my creations from raw rock. My works are, one of a kind. I am a BC lapidary artist. Some people ask for particular colours.
Once I make a piece of jewellery, I never duplicate the same design, using the same rock, so you won't see someone wearing the same piece. I am not a geologist and while I try my best to identify the rock I work with, there may be mistakes. To me it's more that the rock is different, or appeals to my eye. A lot of my rock is local but I've gathered quite a collection on my travels, round the world

Sodalite in sterling silver adjustable setting. I purchased the setting when silver was less expensive than today and am passing along the savings to my valued customers.

Did I trick you on this one. It isn't one of my rocks. My wife created this and snuck it onto my page. It's a piece of her fused glass collection. $30. She calls it the Blue Blob - I think it deserves a prettier name.
